The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is an important part of a modern diesel vehicle’s emissions-control system. It is designed to capture soot particles from the exhaust and periodically remove accumulated soot through a regeneration process.

When regeneration fails or the DPF becomes restricted, the vehicle may develop symptoms such as:

Any software modification must only be used for an application where it is lawful and appropriate. For vehicles intended for normal UK road use, emissions-control systems must remain compliant with applicable requirements.
